2019 will be a Year of Victory

Revival in Christ, 2019, New Years Day, Happy New Years, 2018, Sunrise, Red Sun, Revival, Avivamiento

Twelve long months have come and gone. 2018 was personally a year of growth and change. Some things remained the same while others changed. There was joy, laughter, tears, and sadness. There were peaks and valleys and moments where I simply didn’t want to go on anymore. But thank God that we made it. 2018, twelve months, 365 days where God’s faithfulness prevailed. You may be ending the year differently than how it all started but one thing is true; God hasn’t change.

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. – Malachi 3:6

2018 was a great year but I’m looking forward to what God has in store in 2019. It’s not going to be perfect, but we can trust God. I think the most important thing we can do is place everything in God’s hands. The Bibles says that, “a man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps (Proverbs 16:9). Ultimately God still knows best, and we must allow Him to guide us. But how can He guide us? That’s going to require us submitting ourselves to Him. It’s not easy and believe me, I’ve struggled with this. But if we want to see God’s glory, we must get closer to Him.

2019 Offers a New Start

2019 can be a brand-new start. The turn of the calendar year offers us an opportunity at a fresh start. We can take advantage of it by submitting our lives to God. Like I said earlier, it’s not always going to be easy, but the more we fall in love with God, the smoother it will be. It’s a good time to place our lives in His hands along with everything else. This includes our families, our goals and dreams, our vision, our finances, our problems, everything! Put everything in God’s hands because the Bible says that He cares about you. It also says that without Him we can’t do anything.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. – John 15:5

I know that 2019 is going to be a great year! I know that it’s going to have its own set of challenges but I’m confident that God’s word will prevail. God isn’t a man to lie nor is he a son of man to repent. Whatever God has said will come to fruition (Numbers 23:19). All we need this year is to have faith. Jesus asked Martha, “Haven’t I told you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?” God has already done great things and He’ll continue to do them because we don’t have an ordinary God. Our God is the Creator of heaven and earth. He conquered sin on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. We have a great God.

Declare a Word over the New Year!

Sometimes we forget who we are in Christ. Because of this we lose sight of who God is. But the Bible says that as long as we have breath there’s hope. And God wants us to rise up and believe in His word. We are more than conquerors in Christ. There’s nothing impossible for God and this year will be no exception. The Bible says that life and death is in the power of the tongue so let’s start declaring a word over 2019. I declare that 2019 will be a year of victory in the name of Jesus. And that no weapon forged against us shall prosper. Just like death passed over the Israelites homes because of the blood on their doorposts, the blood of Christ covers our lives and homes and death passes over. God is with us and He will fulfill His purpose in us. Amen!

Thank you for Being a Part of Revival in Christ

I appreciate everyone who reads the content here and I’ve always prayed that it helps others. The only reason I do this is because I want to do something for God. I’m no one special and as far as my needs and desires go, I know that God will provide. Revival in Christ is meant to preach Jesus Christ and the hope that is found in Him. Jesus Christ is King, He’s humanity’s only hope for salvation and forgiveness of sins. He’s God in the flesh and He died for your sins and mine. Three days later death couldn’t hold Him down and He rose from the dead. He did it for you and me because He loves us. Anyone who wants to receive His love can come to Him now. God loves you and He’s always waiting to receive you with open arms.
