I wanted to share yesterday’s preaching at Palabra De Fe (Word of Faith). Pastor Fernando Contreras preached on John 4:23-24 and on the importance of taking off our crowns and placing them at the feet of Christ. God is seeking worshipers that worship in spirit and truth. Oftentimes we have crowns on our heads that symbolize arrogance, pride, anger, and a host of other things that don’t please God. It was funny when Pastor said that sometimes we walk like penguins. We’re prideful. But God wants us to take our crowns off and to place them at His feet.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. – John 4:23-24
