Good evening! Thanks for stopping by Revival in Christ. I hope the content you find here will be a blessing to your life. You are special in the eyes of God and He has great plans for your life. Do you believe it? I hope you do, because the Bible says that God does not lie. Today I want to remind you that Jesus is the answer.
I remember some years ago when I was going through a rough patch in my life. I desperately wanted an exit from my problems. I didn’t have peace and I had a hard time finding the strength to move forward. I asked a brother for advice and he told me, “Jesus is the answer.” I didn’t understand how this one man could help me. “How can He relate to my problems,” I asked myself.
I spent the following months seeking God through prayer, fasting, and reading of the word. Fasting was easier during this time because feeling down has a way of killing your appetite. But, it all helped. You gradually come to realize that it’s true; Jesus is the answer.
I remember how I didn’t even know how to pray. But, maybe I just didn’t know how to express myself to God. I just wanted peace and I’d cry out to God for help. “If You’re real, please help me God,” I’d pray. Thankfully, God came to my life and helped me. He lifted me up and gave me a reason to smile again. I felt like I was looking for love in all the wrong places.
Sometimes we’re like that. We want to fill the void in our hearts so bad, that we look for different ways of doing it. Those ways come in the form of alcohol, pornography, drugs, a boyfriend or girlfriend, etc. All of us have a hole in our heart that makes us feel empty inside. But there’s only one person who can fill that void with permanent joy. Everything is will only bring us temporary satisfaction.
I want to share this message of hope with you. Maybe you’re a Christian but have turned away from God. Today God wants to remind you that He still loves you. You’re His child and He wants you to return to Him. Or maybe you’ve never met Christ. Today, I want to let you know that God knew you before you were in your mother’s womb. He loves you with an everlasting love because He formed you with great love and care.
Jesus is the answer. The problems you’re facing have a solution and His name is Jesus. The void you feel inside of your heart that keeps you up at night has a solution and His name is Jesus. God’s love never fails. If you’re reading this today I have the hope that it’s God speaking to you. I pray that the Holy Spirit can drown you in His love and transform your sadness into joy. God is able to do all these things because nothing is impossible for Him.
