Every once in a while life will throw a problem your way that will completely shake you up. I remember when I experienced a problem like this, and it shook the foundations of my life. But you come to realize that sometimes, if not all times, God allows the walls around us to be shaken so that we can see the who the foundation is. If we look towards the Bible, we can understand that everything truly does happen for a reason. God allows things to happen so that we can decide to place our trust in Him.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
God allows us to go through certain situations so that we can depend on Him. Have you ever tried dealing with life’s issues on your own? Sooner or later you’ll get gassed out. Your strength can only endure for so long. Thankfully the Bible calls us to trust in the Lord because He renews our strength.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31
Life will never be perfect and neither will we until we reach that fateful day that we’re face to face with our Creator. As long as we walk this earth, however, we are imperfect individuals living in an imperfect world. We have our flaws Christians and non-Christians alike. I read a post the other day that said, “Real Christians are struggling Christians.” Just because you’re Christian doesn’t make you exempt from problems. But the good news is that with God all things are possible.
And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. – Luke 18:27
Deciding to trust God is the best decision we can make. The good news is that God wants us to have a relationship with Him. Jesus came down from heaven and died on a cross to demonstrate His love for us. It was the greatest rescue mission in history. God, the creator of all things, came down from His throne and rescued us. Today, right now, is a great moment to decide to place your trust in Him.
