Each day brings a new opportunity to become better. We can take advantage of each new day to learn something new, to do something better, and to better our relationship with God. I don’t where you find yourself today, but I want to take a moment to remind you that God loves you and each day we can do better. Our sins don’t have to define us nor do they have to become a permanent fixture of our lives. We all make mistakes, but the good news is that God is willing to help us.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16
How many of us who have children and/or loved ones would want to see them fail in life? I don’t think any of us would. We all have people we care about. We all know what it’s like to love. We’re imperfect people capable of loving others. How much more than is our perfect God capable of loving us? God doesn’t want us to fail. He sees the potential in each one of us. And every time we breath in the air of life, it’s Him reminding us that each day day we can do better.
Not everything is lost. On the contrary, with God all things are possible. The beautiful thing about God is that He wants us to have a radical way of thinking and looking at things. Right now your eyes see something that’s in the physical realm. But God is asking us to look at things differently. God wants us to call the things that aren’t as if they were. If all you see are problems and worries, then start speaking the things you want to see into existence.
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. – Romans 4:17
With God we have the reassurance of knowing that we are not a conquered people. The Bible says that we are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ. Today is a good day to receive Christ into your heart. It’s a good day to get closer to God and renew your relationship with Him. The times are dark and we’re living a dangerous world. But the good news is that God doesn’t change. His love, grace, and mercy is still the same as it was yesterday. God loves you and when you and I woke up today, it’s God’s way of reminding us that we can do better.
