Being that I am the author of the blogs I wanted to make this page to introduce myself to our visitors. My name is Gilberto Torres Jr and I was born on November 11, 1991. I have an amazing son and I work in property management as a leasing agent. I was born in Glendora, CA and live in Roswell, GA.
I wish I had a date to give you of when I was converted like so many others can, but unfortunately I don’t have a date. What I can tell you is that my conversion was a process. I was brought up in the Catholic church up until my mid-teens. After which I stopped going. It wasn’t until 2012 when I was introduced to the Christian church through my dad. I started assisting a local church and was slowly introduced to the Gospel, the good news. I had experiences that made me wonder about God’s true existence but it wasn’t until 2013 when I came to know God intimately.
I went through a trial that nearly broke me. Today it’s easy to talk about that time and thank God for it happening but living it was a completely different story. I found myself in between two paths: I could try and deal with things by myself or give God a chance. Thank God that He gave ME the chance. So I began to seek Him fervently and pretty soon all my worries were washed away. My sins had been forgiven and I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. The problems weren’t over but I had God and being in His presence was the maximum high.
Today I serve at my church Word of Faith (Palabra de Fe) in Roswell, GA. Again, thank you for visiting “Revival in Christ.” I pray that God moves in my work so that it can be a blessing to your life. Without God’s presence nothing will happen. I could be here all day posting content but if God’s Spirit doesn’t move then it’s all for nothing. God bless you!
